Lives In South Portland

I have been a professional photographer for 44 years working and living in Portland. I love the creative community here! I am a freelance photographer having worked as a photojournalist for most of my career, a published author of eight books on Maine and doing a lot of work with local businesses and graphic artists, both photographing people on location and stock photography-both specialties of mine.

This little city by the sea continues to bring in class acts for theater, music, an incredible art museum and so much more.

First Friday art walks are great, love the farmers markets in the square and the park. The lights during the holidays and after are fantastic, and there are many hidden treasures in this city. It continues to grow into an amazing place, and I'm so happy I am part of this creative community!

Why did you choose Portland? I love living by the sea and the support of the arts here in this city.

What do you like to do with out-of-towners? Show them the natural beauty of Maine and the cultural richness of Portland.

Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? Portland waterfront.

What's the most surprising thing about this city? Portland offers amazing support for the art community.

What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? Holy Donuts, Park Street and the Old Port.
