Bear Scavenger Hunt

Celebrate our local artists and public art.

Join in a family adventure on your own time.

As part of the City’s Stay the Course public health campaign, Creative Portland hired artists to reinforce healthy and safe practices to help

reduce the spread of COVID-19 with creative reminders to wear a mask, wash hands frequently, avoid crowds, and keep physical distance.

We've created a self-guided scavenger hunt map to help you discover the different artworks on display throughout the city.

Take a picture of yourself and/or your child wearing a mask near one of the banners.

Send your photo to submissions@creativeportland.com so we can post on social media.

We'll send you a masked bear poster or a sticker of a superhero!

Inspire your kids to wear masks, just like the superheroes and furry friends. You'll find moose, bears, heroes, and even a cat wearing a striped shirt!

Instruction sheets are available in Spanish, French, Arabic, Portuguese, and Somali. Maps are available here

All ages can participate.

**please note that certain banners will not be hung until November 6**

Can you find this meow-nificient mural by local artist Pat Corrigan?

STARTER TIP:  A giant masked superhero can be found at Mechanics Hall (511 Congress Street, Portland)

Special thanks to participating community partners!
