Buying local art is one of the best ways to support Portland's vibrant and diverse artist community. To make it a bit easier to do so during the pandemic, we've curated a list of some local shops where you can buy local art. The list is in alphabetical order.

Holiday Gift Guide, Maine Crafts Association

A shop from home personal guide to local gifts made in Maine. Your craft purchases bring joy while directly supporting Maine craft artists and the Maine Crafts Association,

Holiday Sale, Maine College of Art

Laundry Day 2020, New Systems Exhibition 

December 6 - December 13

 Laundry day is a community art auction, exhibition and fundraiser for New System Laundry's 2021 season. You can view the art in person Friday 12/11 through Sunday 12/13. You can preview the artwork for on instagram. Pictured is “Six Feet Under” by Douglas Breault with a starting bid of $120.00.

Mayo Street Arts, Online Shop

MSA's online shop has been stocked with specialty magnets hand painted by local artist Pat Corrigan. Each one is signed and dated on the back and comes affixed to a sturdy magnet.
You can buy magnets individually or pick-your-own bundle! Individual magnets are $40 and bundle prices vary.
