I design experiences and objet d'art while sipping and serving Sencha.

Job Entrepreneur in tea and user experience / Dobrà Tea and Kanner Kreative

Lives In South Portland, previously nine years on the Eastern Prom

As a teahouse owner and designer, I design experiences and objet d'art. After many years designing user experiences (UX) for the web, my husband and I opened a teahouse in Portland bringing UX to the food market. After 20 years of design and development for web, print and software, the addition was a natural one, moving my focus beyond that of the 2D into the 3D, working in a variety of mediums and beyond - jewelry, print and plants being the current forays.

Maine as a natural place inspires and rejuvenates. Portland as a city stimulates creativity. All-in-all an optimum experience.

Why did you choose Portland? I went to college in Maine and always loved Portland. When I moved away to CA, I always talked of Portland fondly... that's probably why it's so popular today ;)
