I am a professional muralist based in Portland!

Job Professional Muralist

Lives In The West End

I moved to Portland in 2007 to attend The Maine College of Art and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design in 2011. I have a diverse skill set; from geometric to organic, I am working on new designs, canvases, and commission projects constantly. When using aerosol, my favorite medium, I use a multitude of effects, shadowing and highlights to push the dimension and realism in my paintings. I use the digital world to push various interests in logo design, aerosol and traditional painting techniques, creating colorful new pieces that play with perspective and various illusions. I am looking forward to growing my buisness and career as a professional muralist here in Portland, and am very excited to see what the future has in store for this city and it's artists!

Why did you choose Portland? I chose Portland because of the incredible art culture here, accompanied by The Maine College of Art, First Friday Art Walks and The Portland Museum of Art. What has kept me here has been the phenomenal array of new bars, restaurants, public events, live music and public art to enjoy.

What do you like to do with out-of-towners? Walk around the city and enjoy the spectacular array of bars, restaurants and public art.

Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? The Pleasant Street Park, home to an array of beautiful murals painted by local artists.

What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? My top 2 favorites would have to be Pai Men Miyaki's pork buns and noodles, and Boda's awesome coffee and quail eggs!
