What do you like to do with out-of-towners? The Casco Bay mail boat run, the Deering Oaks farmer's market, a show at Thompson's Point, and coffee coffee coffee.

Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? At the bottom of a bowl of Portland Hunt & Alpine's amazing popcorn.

What's the most surprising thing about this city? The adventurous histories of the people who live here. Everyone has a story.

What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? Books! Portland Public Library, Longfellow Books, Sherman's, Letterpress...and now Print as well.

What's the most under-appreciated place or thing in town? The Longfellow Garden, a glorious little oasis tucked away behind the Maine Historical Society's Wadsworth-Longfellow House – a perfect spot for reading, eating, contemplation ... a retreat from the bustle of Congress Street.

Do you have a serendipity spot? Where do you always bump into good people? The bar at Woodford Food & Beverage.
