Maverick Ashley Lenartson

I AM A Very Very Very Very Very FUNNY ARTIST/GUY

Job Graphic designer / FUN FUN FUN UnLtd

Lives In East Deering near B&M Baked Beans

University of Small & Smart Minds. B.A. Art 1981-1984, 1987-1990. Portland School of Mostly White Art 1984-87. Graphic Design Course P.A.T.H.S. Portland Area Technical High School Fall 1987.

I study art, music, comedy, writing (books, adult novels, articles for newspapers). Anything else which fits my schedule to make life easier & happier!

Like working w/ artists in Greater Portland Maine area!  Have been making art since Dec 12, 1975 when I drew my first black and white No. 02 pencil drawing of ducks in a field in Aroostook County!  When I was 18 I entered the Miss Potato Blossom Queen Beauty Pageant.  Just as I was stepping onto the flatbead trailer that was being used that day I tripped and broke a heel!  Imagine the Feeling!  As Dr. Pill would say, "Maverick Ashley Lenartson, WHAT WERE YOU THINKIN"

Why did you choose Portland? I chose Portland as my twin-sister Rosy wanted to move from Gorham, Maine in the Winter of 1983. The Winter of My Discontent!

Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? My happy place on the peninsula is the Eastern Promenade boat launch! I just love launching my yacht from the boat launch and sailing all the way around Casco Bay! It's a lot of FUN FUN FUN!

What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? My favorite indulgence is making art & leaving myself alone as in don't bother myself. A good day is when I wake up and I am not bothered by ME! That's a good day.
