If you eat it, I photograph it.
Lives In West End
Photography isn't brain surgery or rocket science - I know where I am on the totem pole - but I love shooting pictures, and people tell me I'm pretty good at it. I feel lucky to work with some of Portland and Maine's most talented chefs and have great respect for the hard work they do. I'm also fortunate to be able to contribute my photographs to Share Our Strength Maine - with all of the amazing food I get to experience it's of vital importance to me to do what I can to help Maine kids who don't have enough to eat. What I like: a fun photo shoot with people who are serious about what they do but don't take themselves too seriously; a good beer; a tasty cocktail; a briny oyster; a fine cheeseburger; letting my dogs run on the Eastern Prom or Willard Beach. What I don't: shaving; bad drivers; crying babies; closing time.
My work is collected both locally and internationally. I've been educating art students in New England since the Millennium.
I talk and think and read and write about my favorite state and the people who live here
I write fiction, short stories, and poetry. Lately, it's mostly haiku inspired by what I dream about at night.
