We are on one knee until happiness is available to all human beings regardless of culture, gender or race. Making happiness a collective project is the reason we come together today.*

[Titi de Baccarat](https://www.titidebaccarat.com/), a multidisciplinary artist: painter, sculptor, jeweler, clothing designer, writer, and activist, is dedicated to building inclusive communities and seeking justice, especially in hostile political environments. Mr. de Baccarat was forced to flee his country, Gabon, with only the wealth of his artistic ability.

He firmly believes that whatever form it takes and whatever functions it may have, the primary essence of art is to awaken human consciousness so that human beings can thrive and contribute to the life of their community.
